About us

The Advanced Criminal Law Studies Committee of School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), since its inception, has been instrumental in nurturing and promoting the skill of advocacy amongst the students of SLCU and enhancing their knowledge in the field of criminal law.


The study of criminal law engages the students in recognizing and understanding issues and values designed to keep the public safe and deter wrongful conduct, which is integral to our daily lives.​

The Advanced Criminal Law Studies Committee (ACLSC) has been formulated in order to instigate interest and develop an understanding in the students of School of Law, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) regarding varied aspects of Criminal Law. In furtherance of the same the Committee is focused on organizing Trial advocacy competition, jail visits, forensic lab visits and also judgment writing competition and many more such activities.​
